Bhaskara Foundation successfully implemented the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) Programme under the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative of the CREDAI CSR Foundation across selected districts of Andhra Pradesh and Odisha. The programme was designed to recognize, validate, and certify the existing skills of construction workers who had acquired expertise through years of practical experience in the informal sector.
The initiative focused on enhancing the dignity and employability of workers by aligning their competencies with nationally recognized occupational standards. Through structured orientation, skill gap identification, practical assessments, and bridge training, workers received formal certification acknowledging their proficiency in construction trades such as masonry, bar bending, shuttering carpentry, and related occupations.
