At Bhaskara Foundation, entrepreneurship is viewed as a powerful catalyst for sustainable livelihoods, economic resilience, and inclusive community development. The Foundation’s Entrepreneurship Development Programs (EDPs) are designed to equip aspiring entrepreneurs—particularly women, youth, and individuals from economically disadvantaged communities—with the knowledge, skills, and confidence required to establish and successfully manage their own enterprises.
The programs provide comprehensive training in business planning, enterprise management, financial literacy, market assessment, digital business practices, legal and regulatory compliance, customer relationship management, branding, and marketing strategies. Participants are also guided on accessing institutional credit, government support schemes, and other enterprise development opportunities.
Beyond classroom training, Bhaskara Foundation offers continuous handholding support through mentoring, business counselling, market linkages, and enterprise facilitation to improve the sustainability and growth of beneficiary-led ventures. The Foundation also promotes collective entrepreneurship by encouraging the formation of producer groups, self-help groups, and Mutually Aided Cooperative Societies (MACS), enabling beneficiaries to leverage shared resources, strengthen market competitiveness, and achieve long-term economic self-reliance. By nurturing entrepreneurial mindsets and transforming skilled individuals into successful micro-entrepreneurs, Bhaskara Foundation contributes to employment generation, local economic development, and the creation of self-sustaining communities. The Foundation remains committed to building an inclusive entrepreneurial ecosystem that empowers individuals to become job creators rather than job seekers, thereby driving socio-economic transformation at the grassroots level.
